And how do we inspire people in a large corporation?
Well, creating victories in digitalization, where those victories will inspire others to travel the path of digital adoption. Our experience has taught us that inspiration originates through the small victories that others have, and they help us achieve two important things: that other people wish to have those victories and live them, and that inspiration facilitates the implementation and adoption of the victories of others. We need people to receive inspiration in order to carry out the process of digital adoption in large corporations.
When several teams in different places are performing the digitalization process and are showing their victories, digital adoption is multiplied thanks to mutual recognition in the advances and successes achieved, and therefore the digital maturity of the corporation is accelerated.
We must start with a location, a work team and a digitalization project. The concept of location or place can be a delegation of the company, a subsidiary in a country, or a business unit, for example. After three months and having presented the case of success to other locations, the latter repeat the process with other locations, so that they carry out their victory process and in parallel adopt the case of use or victory of the initial location. And so on. It is basically a multiplicative effect on the phenomenon of propagation of the “quick wins” obtained.
